ABOUT ME

Christine Weiser is the Content & Brand Director for Tech & Learning, the education division of Future PLC, one of the world's largest publishing companies. In this role, she manages the brand's website, digital magazine, and newsletters, and produces 15 events a year. She also leads strategic planning, business development, event management, sales, marketing, and more. Before Tech & Learning, Christine wrote for Scholastic, edited academic books for Gale Publishing, and was the Publisher of the Philadelphia Convention Center Visitors Guide. 

 

Christine is also the co-founder of Philadelphia Stories, established in 2004. This print magazine publishes writers and artists from the Philadelphia area and is distributed to every library branch in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware County, in addition to dozens of other locations.

 

Christine serves as Co-Chair of CoSN's Belonging & Inclusion committee, advocating for equity in education,  and won the prestigious Hurley Private Sector Champion Award in 2025. 

 

She serves on the Board of Trustees for PYO Music Institute, supporting the development of young musicians to inspire a strong sense of character, discipline, commitment, and community for a diverse student population.

Christine is also a musician, playing with Philly-based bands RunHideFight, Gigantic, Mae Pang, and most recently in the New Wave Lounge band, Belladonna. She's also written several books inspired by her experience as a musician.
